We suppose to wake up at 4am, but we are late, we wake up at 5am and started to trek about 5:30am, going up to Kala Patthar. That sand field below is the dried lake of Gorak Shep.
Tibetan Snowcock take their challenge to cross the trail even though they are afraid of people.
The sunlight has "goldening" Taboche peak.
Can tell that the sun is behind of Nuptse, long for the sunlight....
Side ridge of Pumori has been lit up.
The highest point of Kala Patthar, there was a tall cliff on the other side of it, hence it is very dangerous to stand on it.
The lower part of the hill has been lighted, the highest point Kala Patthar is right below the shadow of Nuptse.
Sunlight lit on the peak of Kala Patthar, it much be very warm there.
Because it is there, the black peak at the back, that's Mount Everest.
Saw an Angel when at the highest point of Kala Patthar, he is wearing the prayer flags and Khata around his neck, facing east on where the Everest lay.
Standing on the highest point of Kala Patthar.... how tiny I am....
Began to descend around 8:25am, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Thamserku, Taboche, Cholatse, Lubuche can be seen on the way down.
It about 45 minutes from the top to foot hill.

People say that "Gorak Shep" in Nepali mean "Grave of crow", but for me, the pronunciation of Gorak Shep much sound like "Glacier".
Pumori and Ama Dablam are as beautiful as Machapuchare in Annapurna range.
Just keep walking for an hour after leaving Gorak Shep, it's like someone calling me, then i turn around and I saw Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Nuptse waving goodbye at me.
It was all white yesterday in Lobuche, but now it is yellow.
After heading to west, we can see the Memorial Chorten on Dhukla Pass and also Ama Dablam, that we have trekked through last 2 days.
Now we can see Chola Tsho, the lake lay below Cholatse. So we take a short break here, enjoy the sun, the wind and the calm jade-green Chola Tsho.
Met him again on the way to Dzongla, the Korean guy that trek alone, he carry a bag that covered with yellow rain cover, wearing a purple colored sunglasses, trek alone from Jiri with a wood with him as a trekking pole.
Cho La Pass is between the peaks in the center of the picture, and we are going to cross it tomorrow.
Arrived at Dzongla, Lobuche Peak is just right behind as you can see.
Just ordered garlic soup and a cup of hot lemon, just a light one since its almost time for dinner. Finally have the gut to take off my cloth to clean my body as the room temperature is quite warm here.
Met the Vietnam guys again when I passed by the dinning room for a walk and picture nearby, but only 2 of them were here today. The sky turns dark in less than 20 minutes, let alone Ama Dablam in the dim and cold.
Egg friend rice, at last some rice for me tonight.
Ama Dablam seems shorter here, on the right is Cholatse.
