Have a good sleep last night, don't even want to wake up when the alarm is ringing at 6am. Breakfast done ready at 7:00am, it's Oat Porridge with Fruit and a cup of Dudh Chiya (Milk Tea). Feeling sore throat this morning, luckily didn't order fried food for the breakfast.
Depart to Tengboche by 7:35am after finish breakfast. Like the other days, the sky on the mountain is always clear in the morning, but it is still pretty cold under the shade. 8:05am, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Taboche Peak, and Peak XV can be seen after a distance from Namche, they are so bright under the sun, there are some clouds hovering them.

After some distance from Namche, Peak XV, Lhotse, Nuptse can be seen here, they look brilliant! And there is a Chorten at the foreground, it is a Memorial Chorten of Tenzing Norgay, a Sherpa who made the history of human together with Sir Edmund Hillary for being the 1st 2 human to climbed the highest mountain in the world. (The record is both of them step on the peak at the same time)

Taboche Peak, will be trekking below her north face few days later, and will be looking at her west face will descend from Gokyo, the route is actually a big round around Taboche Peak.
It's a long trek to Tengboche today, will have to cross a suspension bridge after descend from the slope, then will have to climb up a steep slope to Tengboche that located 600m higher on the ridge of the mountain.
The challenge comes after crossing the bridge at Phunki Thanga.
The view after the suspension bridge is not as astonishing as in Namche, and you have to climb for about 2 and half hours steep slope to arrive Tengboche. It's too late to regret not taking lunch at Phunkin Thanga as advised by Sushil, it's much tiring to trek here as compare with trekking up to Namche. But the yellow-reddish forest and bush did looks much like autumn.
Arrived Tengboche around 12:30pm, it's cloudy and looks like going to rain soon. Tengboche Monastery is noticeable once entered the village, those coming from Namche Bazaar should have pass by the monastery. Tengboche Monastery is the biggest monastery in Khumbu region, much pay a visit later.
Will spend a night in the lodge on the left, but the lodge is crowded, just left few rooms outside the lodge. Sweet comes after bitterness, there's a window in the sky.

There a blue sky beyond the window, and Peak XV is lying under the clear blue sky, it's the reward of the day, let's keep it in the camera. Before departed from Namche, Sushil said "Today, you share room with another trekker, because it's difficult to get room at higher altitude, is it OK for you?". Though there are lesser lodges at higher altitude, but believe that it is still possible to get a room. It's actually nothing bad to share room with other, more over, it's good to make new friend, at the same time, Sushil could save some budget from the room. "Roommate" is a Brazilian, Mr. Lopes, he is trekking alone with a guide, but he is carrying his own bag. He said Addison is not easy to remember, hence told him just call Addy would be fine.
Heard that Garlic helps one to cope with altitude sickness, hence, ordered a Garlic Soup, it's tasty! Must order another for dinner! While waiting lunch in the dinning room, Mr. Lopes went for a shower. It's cloudy and cold in Tengboche, and it looks like going to rain, more over, showering after Namche is not in the plan, thus just cleaning with wet tissue later on.
Lunch comes at 01:25pm, it's Steamed Vege. Momo, it's look like Chinese Small Steamed Bun here, and it came in 8 pieces only. It's vege. and carrot in the Momo, not bad to eat, Mr. Lopes also ordered a set of Momo. Been left the thermal bottle at Namche, thus there wouldn't be any warm water while trekking.... Back to room to clean body with wet tissue and also to arrange the mess in backpack, it's not good for being messy as Mr. Lopes is around, but, just for 1 night, then back to the lazy one as usual, haha!
This is not dander, though did not wash hair for 2 days, this another reward of the day. Planned to visit the monastery after done arranging the mess, while walked out from the room, there are something little white stuff falling from the sky, they disappeared while it touched the ground. This is 1st snow in my life, and it happened in Himalaya.
Couldn't found Sushil in the dinning room, hence walk to monastery alone by not knowing which place to go while came to the monastery. This is the 1st building after entering the gate, can see it's snowing?
Footprint and marks left by Lama Sangwa Dorje while he meditated here in 16th century, He also predicted that a monastery will be built in Tengboche. The rock is cracked during the fire in the monastery.
A dooryard after entering the door.
While entering the building, a guide from other group said "It's closed", but they are still walking around the monastery, hence, just wait and see whether able to get into the hall later. After a while, the guide convinced a Lama to open the door, usually it's only allow to entering the hall while there is a prayer call.
It's dark in the hall, not much lighting in here, the walls are painted, that including the Mandala on the ceiling.
There are gowns in vermilion on the seats where the Lama sing the prayer.
Leaving monastery at 3:00pm, heard there are some people said this is "wet snow", as they are wet and melt immediately after touching ground.
Back to lodge and saw Sushil wearing down jacket and with his bag at the back, he ask "Where are you going? Want to go monastery now?", ha! he only done readying now? After write down the order of dinner in the log book, he disappeared again.... writing trekking notes alone in the dinning room, there is a trekker came in ask for room, and left quickly after knowing there is no empty room. The lodge is full today, hence some trekkers tend to stay at Debuche that further from Tengboche below the mountain ridge.
May be it's because of snowing, they start burning the heater around 4:30pm, woods and Yak dang were used for burning, the room is heated soon after the burning.
Dinner came at 5:50am, the dinning room is crowded with trekkers from around the world, and the seats are arranged according to room's number. Hot tower was distributed to each guest before the dinner start, how lovely it is? Ordered Vege. Fried Rice and Garlic Soup, the soup is excellent! Mr. Lopes is a humorous person, he's been telling jokes during dinner, and kept telling his guide to challenge Everest to make a Guinness World Record. Tonight, Sushil will have to sleep in the tent at outside the lodge, but the tents were covered with a layer on snow, it must be very cold. Back to the room around 8pm, hand a warm pack for Sushil before went to bed, hope it is not too cold tonight.
