Purposely wake up early to capture Gokyo Lake in the dawn, not many people hiking up Gokyo Ri at this hour.
It looks like there are more clouds than yesterday, and the sunlight also not as bright as yesterday, sunshine on the peak of the hill are not in golden color.
Reflection of the Pharilapche peak on Gokyo Lake, it's worth to come here while you visiting Everest Bace Camp.
Depart after breakfast, trying to reach Namche Bazaar today so that I can take a shower, if not, this will be the 10 continues days that I haven't take any shower.
There is the Renjo La Pass on the opposite, Renjo La is one of the famous Three High Passes Trek in Khumbu Region.
Me, as in Gokyo 3rd Lake and Cho Oyu at the back.
This is Gokyo 2nd Lake, it is much smaller than the 3rd lake.
Gokyo 1st Lake is very small, perhaps one will call it a pond instead a lake.
All the way down towards south, we are trying to skip Dole until we reach Namche Bazaar in one day.
We arrived Machhermo very fast, it just take about 2 hours. Some people will stay here if they are hiking up to Gokyo Ri in the same day.

Passed by few villages after Machhermo, finally we saw Dhole. The original plan was to spend a night here, then only to continue to Namche Bazaar by next day. But it seems like we have plenty of time, so we decided to continue our trek after lunch in Dhole.
Back to the route after taking lunch in Dhole, now we have a good view of Kangtega and Thamserku.
Kangtega on the left has a curvy shape on the top, that look like a saddle and in fact, Kangtega means "Snow Saddle".
A white Yak stood still on the slope, it looks quite taming.
After Phortse Thanga, we have to climb about 300 meters until we reach a village called Mong. This will be the final steep slope for today until be reach Namche Bazaar, from here we can see Phortse on the opposite slope.
As we leaving Mong village, we are getting closer to Namche Bazaar. At the back, there is Cholatse and Taboche Peak.
As we continue descending, we are lucky to see 2 female Danphe birds beside the route. Danphe is the national bird of Nepal, the female commonly in brown color, and the male Danphe color are much like a male peacock.
As we getting closer to Namche Bazaar, we can see the same view of Mount Everest again.
Since we have complete the 2 days route in a day, now we have an extra day in our itinerary. So on 13, we decided to rest in Namche by not doing anything, so there would not be any recording of Day 13. Basically we just walk around the small town to visit the shop and get some time online to telling my friend that we have done EBC and Gokyo, and everything is fine here.
