Our luck weren't so good, our flight not able to come in due the the unpredictable weather condition. Although we have been waiting at the airport since 7am in the morning, hoping that our flight would come early. But we only been informed that our flight has been canceled at 12pm, some may choose to stay one more day in Jomsom and hope to get the next morning flight. But we have to reach Pokhara at least by tomorrow, and we don't want to take the risk, so we decided to go out by bus.

We have to take bus from Jomsom to Ghasa, and change another bus from Ghasa to Beni. But we don't know what will we get in Beni as the time we arrive there should be around 9 or 10pm. The buses from Jomsom to Beni wasn't so comfortable as the ride is very bumpy and the music in the bus is very loud. We manage to get a MPV that night in Beni, and we arrive Pokhara at 2am.

We spend our half day to visit the temple on the Phewa Lake, it's a cloudy day and we didn't get to see the mountains from the lake.

From Pokhara we traveled to Chitwan by bus, we have a little tour around the park and the village in the evening. 1st we have is the Tharu mud house, the guide is explaining how the mud house was build and how it prevent the attack from animal.

Then we visit elephant breeding centre.

4-Nov-2011

It's raining early in the morning, and we have our river tour in the rain.

The canoe tour is awesome, though I didn't get much from my boat guide, but we did have the great time on the river.

Then we visit another Elephant Breeding Center, the elephants are chained to protect them from hurting the villages?

After the disappointing Jungle Walk, the told us that we can have Elephant Bathing at the river. Tourist are allow to join the elephant to take bath in the river. But I have no interest after seeing how they "control" the elephant.

After lunch, we have elephant riding in the jungle. We have saw snakes, deers, peacocks, rhinos, and if you are lucky you might able to see tiger.

Jomsom(2800)

Woke up early in the morning to send off our porters as they are leaving Jomsom by bus. After that we have our half day tour to the nearby Thini Village.

Thini Village, Jomsom

From the village we also observing the busy airport, watching planes landing and unload and reload, then take off within 15 minutes. It seems like a good day to fly, where we also hope that the weather is good for our tomorrow flight.

Thini village located on the slope across the river, but we didn't get much to see as the village is quiet.

Dhumba lake in Dhumba Village that located on the hill near by Thini Village, the lake is fenced for some reason. Going further up to the top of the hill, there is a Gompa .

Gompa means Monastery, and this monastery called Kutsab Ternga Monastery, we didn't enter the monastery although visitor are allowed to enter with so donation.

The view is awesome here, from the monasterty we can see Dhumba Lake and Thini Village on the left.
